Roosendaal is strategically located between the large seaports of Rotterdam (50 km) and Antwerp (53 km) and on the intersection of the A17 (Moerdijk-Roosendaal-Antwerp) and A58 (Eindhoven-Tilburg-Breda-Vlissingen) motorways which makes the whole of mainland Europe easily accessible.

Direct motorway connections into Belgium also make Roosendaal an excellent location for distribution operations serving the Benelux countries and France. Companies can access 170 million consumers within a 300 kilometre radius and up to 300 million consumers within 500 kilometres. In May 2017 Roosendaal was ranked number 1 in the logistic hotspots rating of the leading Dutch logistics magazine "Logistiek NL".

Efficient access and excellent transport links

Campus A58 site is directly adjacent to A58 motorway which makes it easy to access and leave via Exits 22 and 23. The access to A17 motorway (Brussels - Antwerp - Amsterdam) has been simplified with the recent completion of the bypass connecting the two motorways, which enables trucks driving to avoid going through or around the city.

Campus A58 offers convenient public transport links for the staff travelling from the city centre and other regions. A short bus trip (routes 104, 112 and 211) connects Roosendaal city centre and train station with Majoppeveld-Noord industrial park where the site is located.

Labour Market


The municipality of Roosendaal has almost 75,000 inhabitants which makes it the second town in West Brabant in terms of the size of population. The region overall is the home to over 330,000 relatively young and well-educated people. According to Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics, in June 2015, there’s been 45 unemployed people per 1000 in Roosendaal municipality, with circa 2,250 unemployed in Roosendaal itself (and 3,420 in capacity for work) and another circa 12,000 of unemployed (and circa 17,000 in capacity to work) within a 30-minute drive from the Site.

In addition, there is a sizeable labour potential of approximately 25,000 commuters - residents of West Brabant. Another potential benefit is the level of cost of labour, which, for the commercial services sector for instance, is some 7% lower than the national average.

Markante schoorsteen van Philips in Roosendaal 450 meter verplaatst


Het is gelukt: de 44-meter hoge schoorsteen van de oude Philips-fabrieken in Roosendaal is verplaatst. Met een slakken-gangetje en rechtopstaand werd de imposante schoorsteen naar een plek honderden meters verderop gebracht. Direct aan de A58 zodat hij voor iedereen goed is te zien.
